Katelyn- 5 1/2 yrs old

Sweet Katelyn is 5 1/2 years old.  She is a blessing and a joy.  I can't believe how fast she is growing up.  Her little personality is so fun to watch.  She is absolutely a little momma, and not just to Colson and Adelyn.  Yesterday we were walking out of the YMCA and our little friend Reese (15 months) was walking.  She headed toward the street and Katelyn quickly ran over and redirected her toward us.  She is always looking out for little kids and takes pride in doing so.  She will tell me about what little kid she was watching out for in playcourt or at a playground.  

Katelyn LOVES games and crafts.  She is independent and will go get her supplies, make what she wants and then proudly show me when she is finished.  

Katelyn is a good eater.  She likes to eat healthy foods and has even restricted foods that she says are 'sugar-bugs'.  

Katelyn doesn't nap, although she will lay down and rest for 30 minutes if I tell her to.  She sleeps from 8-7, maybe waking a little earlier but she will play in her room with Adelyn until 7.

Katelyn is a big helper around the house and enjoys helping with chores.  Although sometimes she doesn't understand why she has to help more than Adelyn.

Katelyn has lost 2 teeth recently.  She pulled one herself and she was very proud.  Another one is wiggly and she keeps working on it; she wants the tooth fairy to come again!

Katelyn loves school and is doing great.  She is smart and I always hear a good report from Mrs. V.
