Let's Boogie!

The weekend before last we went to Lake Brownwood state park with some of our very best friends, Ben and Ashlee Johnson to celebrate Ben's graduation.  Jared took 1/2 a day off so we could get to the park and help my dad set up the RV (thanks to my wonderful parents for letting us use their RV!).  Not only did they let us use the RV, they also kept Katelyn at their place.  Katelyn had a blast riding the tricycle, riding the ranger and playing with Bubba and JoJo. 

With Katleyn at Bubba and JoJo's house, Adelyn got lots of lovin' and attention.  Since Jared took 1/2 off, we got to the campsite early and got t spend some time in the heat playing with doodle bug while Ben and Ashlee made their way to Brownwood.  Her is Adelyn with Daddy and Mommy.

Then the party started when the Johnson's showed up.  Look at 'Auntie Ash', what a beauty!

Then there is 'Uncle Ben'... entertaining Adelyn :)

Saturday morning we got up, had a big breakfast and then went down the trail to see what the state park had to offer.  We came up on a fox that wasn't too happy to see us.  Jared and Ben then talked for a while about how they would have loved to kill the fox with their walking sticks...

Here is the view from the top of the hill.  It isn't Hawaii or anything, but it had it's own special charm.

The trail led us to the water.  Again, not exactly Hawaii!

At some point during our weekend-o-fun we decided to take boogie pictures next to the let's boogie sign.  It can't be a true vacation if you don't take silly pictures, right?!?!

  We are so blessed to have such great friends.  We only wished the Johnson's lived closer so we could see them more often!
