Adelyn is 21 months old!

You read it right, Adelyn is already 21 months old!  This past month Adelyn has turned into such a little toddler.  She knows what she wants and will make herself heard!  You can see her expression in the picture below as she pushed Katelyn away... That was her way of saying she didn't want to take a picture with Katelyn...
She wanted to take a picture by herself!  Adelyn's vocabulary is growing daily and she keeps me laughing with all her new animal sounds.  Adelyn loves to go potty.  She asks to go at every diaper change and is successful some of the time.  I'm waiting for the day that she asks to go before she needs a diaper change.  If I think about it and ask her when she is still clean and dry she will sometimes go on the potty.  I wouldn't really say we are potty training, more so just potty trying whenever...  She isn't scared of the potty, so I guess when we are ready to train we are off to a good start.
The biggest news this month is that Katelyn and Adelyn are sharing a room.  This is a picture of Katelyn the first night that Adelyn was in the 'big girl room'.
And here is Adelyn the first night.  Right now Adelyn is still in the pack-n-play, but soon she will move into the bed with Katelyn.  That could be an adventure!
Adelyn loves to sit at the table and do artsy, crafty stuff.  She watches Katelyn and really wants to do whatever Katelyn is doing.
Adelyn got to see snow over Thanksgiving.  I don't really think she cared one way or another though...
While in Washington she ended up with a double ear infection.  Poor thing!  Luckily the medicine kicked in after a few days and she perked right up!
While in Washington Adelyn spent a lot of time with her cousin Miss Ellie.  They are just at a year apart and it was so fun to watch them play!  Ellie was Adelyn's little momma and really enjoyed combing her hair!
Adelyn will still eat pretty much whatever is served, but she usually has her favorites with each meal.  She will eat her favorite then point to that spot on her plate to ask for more.  Adelyn has had some experience in time-out this month.  She will go sit and then when I ask her if she is ready to come out and be happy she'll say, "yeah" and go about her business.  Overall Adelyn is still very laid back and a sweet little lady.  She is still obsessed with babies and stuffed animals.  She loves to play kitchen and push the baby stroller around.
I can't believe how close she is to turning 2!  She is such a blessing to us and she is our favorite Adelyn in the whole wide world!  Happy 21st month sweet Ada-girl!
