Squirt Park Fun!

Today we went to the squirt park with our friends Jennie and Heidi. We had a picnic lunch and then the fun began! This was our first trip to the squirt park and we were very impressed with this fun (and free) place to go enjoy the weather and play in the water. Plus we were the only ones there most of the time so we didn't have to worry about the big kids running the babies over. Katelyn didn't know what to think of the water at the beginning, but after a few minutes she really started to enjoy splashing and running through the puddles. She was a little afraid of the water hitting her, but it was still fun!

It's so cute when they notice one another. They get very interested in each other and want to touch, grab, poke- whatever they can do! Here is Katelyn in her first ride in her big girl car seat. She is now facing the front, so all I have to do is look over my shoulder and see her bright and shiny face! What a big girl!
