No more rain = we get to play outside!

Let me tell you, Katelyn loves her cousin. While we were outside playing she would come check on him every few minutes. Very cute :) You can't really tell from the picture, but we were playing peek-a-boo in the entry way.

She is exploring all the great outdoors has to offer, including gently touching the tree in the front yard.

I got one 1/2 smile at least...

Yes, Joshua is still here Katelyn, you can keep playing! This time she decided to give him a Katelyn hug.

Easter 2009

We had a great time celebrating Easter, that is Jesus' resurrection- He overcame death and rose to heaven. Glory be to God, who is our hope of having eternal life in heaven. What a blessing!

This year for Easter we went to Brownwood to spend the weekend with my parents. We had a great time hanging out, my dad put Jared to work, and Katelyn had her first real Easter egg hunt. In the beginning she would leave her basket, go pick up an egg or two, then take them to the basket.

Then she figured out there is something in this egg...

Now it is time to eat it, wrapper and all!

What a fun weekend with family! Here is a picture of Katelyn with her cousin, Joshua with Bubba and JoJo. This is not the best picture of them, but I love that you can tell how much Katelyn and "WaWa" (as Katelyn calls him) love each other!
